Explaining My Career as a New Licensed Esthetician

As a newly licensed esthetician, I often find myself explaining to people exactly what I do. Some people have heard of estheticians, but many have not and are curious about my career.

An esthetician is a skincare specialist who is trained in the science of skin care, including cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing the skin. We also provide treatments such as facials, waxing, and makeup application.

Our goal as estheticians is to help clients achieve and maintain healthy, glowing skin through proper skincare routines and treatments. We work with clients to address their specific skincare concerns, whether acne, anti-aging, or simply maintaining a healthy complexion.

Being an esthetician is one of my favorite jobs since no two days are ever the same. There are new clients and skincare issues to take care of every day. To give my clients the best service possible, I am continuously learning new things and broadening my expertise in this sector, which is one that is constantly changing.

So, to sum it up, an esthetician is a skincare specialist who helps clients achieve healthy, glowing skin through a variety of treatments and skincare routines.

It’s a rewarding career that allows me to make a positive impact on my clients’ skin and overall well-being.
